The work package we prepare
One identified ordinary cast-in-place slab or footing package, from applicable preparation and pre-pour checks through concrete receipt, placement, curing, testing and closeout. We confirm which stages your scope includes before drafting.
Precast manufacture, prestressing, piles, shotcrete, specialist repair and temporary-works design are separate scopes. This service prepares documents; structural design, formwork design, laboratory testing and site inspection are performed by the project-appointed parties.
Documents that make the plan specific
Upload the files as they are. You do not need to extract clauses or rewrite them into a brief. Include the mandatory contractor form if you have one.
- Structural drawings and bar schedules
- Current revisions, element or pour boundaries, reinforcement details, cover requirements and relevant dimensions.
- Concrete specification and approved mix information
- The project strength, exposure, placement, curing and test requirements, with units and applicable exceptions.
- Quality and inspection requirements
- The contractor’s ITP form, lot/sample rules, laboratory arrangements, notice periods and any assigned hold or witness points.
- Formwork and temporary-works documents, where applicable
- The relevant design/check records and interfaces to be referenced; preparing an ITP does not replace those documents.
How requirements become checks and records
The sequence below explains the document workflow. It contains no engineering thresholds or completed inspection results.
| Work stage | What the ITP resolves | What the blank record captures later |
|---|---|---|
| Reinforcement before placement | The drawing and bar schedule identify what to check; the ITP identifies the method, responsible role and timing. | Record the checked location, specified requirement, actual measurement or observation, drawing revision, evidence and any recheck. |
| Concrete receipt and testing | The project specification and approved mix documents define applicable receipt checks, sampling and acceptance. | Keep delivery identification and applicable test/sample references linked to the element or pour. |
| Curing and closeout | The supplied curing and testing requirements are assigned to their actual work stages. | Keep method and timing records, test report references and disposition of unresolved items. |
What you receive
- A scoped ITP with inspection steps, methods, project criteria and source references, timing/frequency where supplied, responsibilities and the project control-point legend.
- Matching blank field records for the agreed checks, including actual observation, evidence, issue, recheck and sign-off fields.
- Excel, Word and PDF, with document control and specific open confirmations. Actual measurements, test results and signatures remain blank.
- Your supplied contractor form used where its format is required. Source documents and paid standards are not redistributed as part of the package.
If the documents are incomplete or conflict
For example, a missing reinforcement detail can be identified by drawing/element while the unambiguous receipt and curing stages are drafted. A missing essential criterion or conflicting revision still needs project clarification before the affected check can be finalised.
Project document precedence and approved revisions control the plan. Drafting does not confer engineering approval, certify compliance or guarantee contractor acceptance.
