About Cavoren ITP

How we prepare ITP resources

Cavoren ITP publishes editable construction inspection and test plan starting points, blank field records and practical drafting guides for Australian project teams. We also prepare project-specific documents from customer-supplied files.

Who publishes these resources

Cavoren ITP is a Cavoren service. Questions about a resource, source reference or project package can be sent to itp@cavoren.net. This site does not claim professional engineering accreditation, site inspection experience or independent engineer approval for its free resources.

How a resource is developed

  1. Define the actual work stage, interfaces and exclusions before drafting.
  2. Check relevant public primary sources and distinguish scope guidance from the controlled documents governing a particular project.
  3. Use AI-assisted research, drafting and document preparation. Review source links, scope, row-to-record consistency and missing project decisions before release.
  4. Prepare matching Excel, Word and PDF files. Check document contents, spreadsheet structure and page layout, then verify public downloads and links.

These checks are content and document quality checks. They are not engineering verification or a technical approval of your project.

How to read the source notes

Resource pages identify the public documents used for topic context and explain their limits. A transport specification is not automatically a building requirement. A public summary of a standard does not mean its licensed clauses were reviewed. The project contract, approved drawings, adopted editions and specified product instructions supply the actual acceptance values, coverage, roles and release arrangements.

What stays blank

Project engineering values, unresolved references, actual inspection findings, measurements, dates and signatures stay blank or clearly marked for completion. Illustrative examples are labelled fictional or educational and are not evidence from a real project.

Free resources and project-specific drafting

Free templates and field records can be downloaded without payment. Project-specific drafting costs USD 99 per defined work package, with Excel, Word, PDF and matching blank records delivered within 24 hours after the required project files are complete. The project team retains responsibility for approval and actual inspection.

Corrections and updates

Send the page URL, affected step or file, and the supporting source to report a correction. Source check dates on individual resources describe when the stated source was inspected; they do not guarantee that your contract uses that edition.
