The work package we prepare
One customer-defined HVAC or mechanical services package from controlled project documents. The public starting point is ordinary building ductwork; the paid plan may cover other documented equipment, pipework, controls, balancing and commissioning interfaces, with each check and evidence owner tied to its source.
The public baseline covers ordinary building ductwork only. Paid scope follows the supplied project criteria for the agreed package. We do not design, install, handle refrigerants, perform tests or balancing, commission equipment, integrate controls or certify building performance; those activities stay with assigned specialists.
Documents that make the plan specific
Upload the files as they are. You do not need to extract clauses or rewrite them into a brief. Include the mandatory contractor form if you have one.
- Mechanical drawings, schedules and equipment data
- Identify systems, areas, routes, equipment, terminals, controls points and approved revisions.
- Specifications and approved system documents
- Provide project requirements for construction, supports, insulation, equipment installation, controls and identification with source revisions.
- Controls, balancing and trade interface documents
- Include BMS/control sequences, electrical interfaces, access, fire/smoke interfaces and responsibilities wherever in the package.
- Test, commissioning and contractor form requirements
- State required evidence, who performs and reports it, applicable acceptance source, coverage, defects/retest and review roles.
How requirements become checks and records
The sequence below explains the document workflow. It contains no engineering thresholds or completed inspection results.
| Work stage | What the ITP resolves | What the blank record captures later |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment/material receipt and installation readiness | Map system/asset IDs and source-defined product/support requirements to receiving and prerequisite checks. | Capture system, location, equipment/product references, prerequisite handover and source revision. |
| Installation, connections and controls interfaces | Tie documented installation and controls requirements to their actual discipline and area interfaces. | Record area/system, specified checks, interface status, observations, defects and linked evidence. |
| Test, balancing/commissioning evidence and handover | Index project-required reports from the assigned specialist against the named system and source criteria. | Capture report IDs/revisions, stated coverage, outstanding defects, retest links and handover status. |
What you receive
- A scoped HVAC & mechanical services ITP with inspection steps, methods, project criteria and source references, timing/frequency where supplied, responsibilities and the project control-point legend.
- Matching blank field records for the agreed checks, including actual observation, evidence, issue, recheck and sign-off fields.
- Excel, Word and PDF, with document control and specific open confirmations. Actual measurements, test results and signatures remain blank.
- Your supplied contractor form used where its format is required, with its required structure retained. Source documents and paid standards are not redistributed as part of the package.
If the documents are incomplete or conflict
For example, a duct layout can define a route while equipment/control documents, project test criteria or evidence ownership are missing. We flag the missing source and do not invent leakage limits, support spacing, airflow values or commissioning results.
Project document precedence and approved revisions control the plan. Drafting does not confer engineering approval, certify compliance or guarantee contractor acceptance.
